OWNER . HEAD COACH. ETERNAL STUDENT
Coach Rich Beaupit has spent decades building a space where beginners feel welcome, families feel supported, and every student learns to challenge themselves.
His leadership, energy, and care shape the heart of SBG Niagara — where training is about more than martial arts… it’s about becoming your best self.
For Coach Rich Beaupit, martial arts has always been more than a skill — it’s been a way of life. Since opening SBG Niagara in 1994, his mission has been simple and unwavering: to help people grow into stronger, more confident, and more capable versions of themselves.
Rich’s coaching style blends technical precision with genuine care. He believes in meeting every student where they are — whether it’s a nervous first-timer, a child learning confidence, or a seasoned athlete refining their game.
His approach is built on the SBG philosophy of aliveness: training with honesty, energy, and purpose so you develop skills that truly work — on the mats and in life.
Through decades of teaching, Rich has built more than a gym — he’s built a tribe. His greatest pride isn’t in medals or titles, but in seeing his students succeed, grow, and carry the lessons of martial arts into everything they do.
You’ll often hear him say it, because he lives it every day:
Get Up. Show Up. Never Give Up.
That’s not just a motto. It’s the heartbeat of SBG Niagara.
